General Terms & Conditions

1. Quotations

Quotations are based on the drawings, specifications, and quantities provided by the customer. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices may change if drawings, materials, tolerances, or order quantities are revised.

2. Order Confirmation

An order is considered accepted only after Suntech issues a written order confirmation (by email or PI). Customer purchase orders, drawings, or verbal instructions do not constitute binding acceptance until confirmed in writing by Suntech.

3. Pricing and Payment

Prices are quoted in the currency stated on the quotation. Unless otherwise agreed, standard payment terms are 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment for new customers. Established customers may apply for net-30 terms. Prices exclude taxes, duties, shipping, and insurance unless explicitly included.

4. Lead Time and Delivery

Standard parts are typically shipped within 1–3 business days. Custom machined parts typically take 2–3 weeks after order confirmation and artwork approval. Lead times are estimates and may vary due to material availability, inspection scheduling, or customs processing. Suntech is not liable for delays beyond its reasonable control (force majeure).

5. Quality and Acceptance

All products are manufactured in accordance with approved drawings, industry standards, and our ISO 9001 quality management system. We provide first-article inspection reports and material certificates (e.g., Mill Test Certificates) upon request. The customer must inspect goods within 7 days of receipt. Claims for defects must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence within this period.

6. Custom Manufacturing

All custom parts are produced to customer-supplied drawings and specifications. Suntech is not responsible for errors in customer-provided designs, dimensions, or material selections. We may provide design for manufacturing (DFM) suggestions, but the customer retains final responsibility for part functionality.

7. Confidentiality and IP

Drawings, designs, and technical information shared by the customer are treated as confidential. Suntech will not disclose them to third parties or use them for other customers' projects. Tooling, fixtures, and intellectual property paid for by the customer remain the customer's property and are returned or destroyed upon request.

8. Warranty

Suntech warrants that products will conform to approved specifications at the time of shipment. Our liability is limited to replacing or refunding defective parts found within the inspection period. We are not liable for consequential damages, production downtime, or indirect losses arising from part use.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from an order shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be settled by arbitration in Shenzhen, China, in accordance with applicable international trade practices. These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
